Maybe this is just in my head to distract me from all of the drama going on in my life right now, but I have a question. How do people come up with their AOL screen names? I mean, mine is pretty self-explanatory, but everytime I read comments in journals, I spend alot of time trying to figure out what the little screen names mean. Do people not want to use their name/initials/something to do with their name, for a reason? Maybe some people journal under "different" screen names? Just curious...

Made mine up when hubby went to Korea for a year with me and his daughter...AIr Force sent him. Gabster is our daughter's nick name...RobinNGabster. It was just an address for him to use but it stuck and now everyone knows me by it.

Siennastarr.... I just made it up. I thought it was pretty so I kept putting words together, and came up with that. Sounded better than Jgut or something..lol :)

Great question, Ashlee! My screen name is my full name, but I found that it's too identifiable. I've had it for 9 years now so do not want to change it, besides it's easy for my friends & family to remember and recognize. However, sometimes I want to be incognito, like when I journal, so I have a 2nd screen name I use.
Mine are my iniaitials and last name E (erin) K (kline) Gillen. Now you all now my secret...my name is Erin and not Gillie! :) All my friends started calling me Gillie when I got engaged and it stuck!

One day I spotted a field of redpoppies while driving down the highway. I loved the red color so there I got my screen name.
Someone else had just the redpoppy so I had to add the 007 to use it.

well am4039 I can tell you is A for Alan my husband M for Marla my name and 40 was my husbands age when we set up aol and I was 39. Holy cow he's 49 and I'll be 48 in Feb. Just getting older.
