Brent does not always come across as the most understanding man about things. When I am upset, he gets frustrated. I have told him over and over "It is NOT your fault, I DON'T want you to fix it, I JUST want you to listen." I think it is finally somewhat starting to sink in with him that he does not need to fix my world, but just be my "safe place" sometimes.
He sent me a very sweet text message when I got to work this morning and I came home to a big bouquet of flowers on the kitchen table. He has always been quite romantic in alot of ways, and I am glad marriage hasn't taken that away. Little things like that really can go a long way sometimes.......
P.S. But don't think that he can't still be a #$&%* sometimes LOL ;)

I am smiling for you...i am so glad Brent was kind and listened and sent the flowers. Flowers sure can say alot sometimes to a woman....and i have a hubby who isnt very "with it" at times either about listening and understanding. Love you

Of course he is...he's a guy!! It must be a thing with them...they always have to make things right, and they don't understand that its not always possible, or in our best interst. Brent is still romantic...keep him! Take care...

Yeah, if you ask me, that's the problem with men sometimes....to them, everything is black and white, when REALLY, things can be gray. To them, if we tell them what's bothering us, they come up with what they think is the "solution." Some problems aren't LIKE that!!
I think they feel helpless if they don't give us an "answer" to our problem. Anyway, that's WHY we have to have girlfriends...who lend a compassionate ear and know when to shut their mouths!! LOL

In a way it's nice to have a husband who wants to fix all the bad things in your life, and make them better. Most men wouldn't even bother listening, much less want to fix it all!
Brent sounds like, for the most part, a very caring guy, who loves and cares about you very much! :)
