Sunday Evening

Well, my day today was quite productive, but not very restful.  We got up around 9 this morning, and my honey went out and picked us up some breakfast.  I was at Publix doing my grocery shopping by 10 a.m., and $175.00 later, back home.  Because we were out of town all last weekend, I hadn't caught up on my housework and laundry.  It makes me feel anxious and frustrated to start the week with things in my home "undone" (yes, I am a type A personality with a capital A).  While Brent worked in the garage, I managed to get the fridge cleaned out, groceries put away, and the downstairs spotless.  My MIL came over to borrow our steam cleaner, so this gave me a short break, then I was off to tackle the upstairs.  Meanwhile I managed to put a pot roast in the oven. After working for about 3 hours, my upstairs is now clean, sheets changed, and I put a  small dent in the laundry situation.

Now, however, I am wiped out.  My pot roast smells yummy, so I am off to finish dinner - pot roast, potatoes, carrots, onions, gravy, rolls, and salad.  Brent just returned from Kroger where he picked up some firewood and cherry cobbler.  I will probably be in bed VERY early tonight!!!!
